Lotions are emulsions of water and oil, which makes them prone to spoilage. To remain shelf stable, they require preservatives and stabilizers.

This is a wonderful body oil. Wonderful rich vanilla scent. Slightly heavier than say almond oil but not too heavy. Use as a luxury oil over moisturized areas, especially arms, chest and neck.
