I am 37, going through perimenopause, and aside from the long list of changes I am going through, my biggest is my skin.
I went from needing nothing to needing everything, in what feels like overnight.
My current skin is: very reactive, highly sensitive-contact dermatitis with almost every product that I try, to include organic and pH balanced. Rosacea on my cheeks and under my eyes. Acne prone—cystic, ghost pimples, black heads galore, and your garden variety of white heads. I get hives on my neck during ovulation now. Perioral-dermatitis around my mouth. Eczema.
You name it, I now have it.
These past 12 months have been brutal to say the least.
My go to have been emu oil, it’s done wonders for me, but for about 2 weeks out of the month (during ovulation until my next cycle) I cannot use it, it clogs my pores.
On the hunt for anything, something, and I see this—Sacred Serium. Having zero confidence in this product. (I’ve tried almost 30 different skin care products in the last year), I thought, add it to the list.
